My Unique Qualities: I have a younger brother who was diagnosed with Autism when he was 4. Now in his early 20s, he drives his own car, has a job and is working toward developing more independent living skills as an adult. This experience helps me understand the supports he requires as he transitions into adulthood and contributes heavily to my passion for serving people with developmental disabilities.
